Abstract. In this article, the author examines the relevance of environmental issues in the world in general, and the Russian Federation in particular. Currently, the demand for the state to solve environmental problems is constantly growing. At the same time, environmental activism still remains not a very widespread phenomenon; the growth of public attention to ecology is rather situational, usually explosive. The trigger is most often various types of emergencies or construction projects.
The author examined the political technology work of parties in the direction of solving environmental issues on the model of Moscow, as the center of the political and social life of the country.
Due to the fact that some of these organizations are not active, and some do not have a formulated position on environmental issues, it is proposed to narrow the range of analyzed political parties to those of greatest scientific interest. These are primarily parliamentary parties that have demonstrated their high electoral support.
Thus, issues on the environmental agenda are present in key documents of all parliamentary parties of the Russian Federation without exception. At the same time, the depth of their elaboration and the degree of integration into the program varies significantly.
