Advantages and risks of introducing Internet communications in Moscow school communities

Abstract. The relevance and social significance of the topic «Internet communications in school communities» is due to the rapid development of digital technologies and their penetration into all spheres of society, including education.

The problem of using Internet communications in school communities is associated with a number of challenges and problems, such as cyberbullying, the spread of false information, addiction to gadgets and a decrease in the level of real communication.

The purpose of the work: to study how Internet communications can contribute to or, conversely, hinder the educational process; to study the social aspects of the impact of Internet communications; the hypothesis of the study is based on the assumption of the need to take into account the fact of the ambivalence of the influence of the Internet on the educational process in schools, that is, on the assumption that a thorough, ambiguous analysis and comprehensively substantiated implementation of Internet communications in the school environment, taking into account both socio-educational needs and possible risks, can serve as the basis for creating a more integrated and safe digital educational space; organization and methods of the research: the research is based on the use of both qualitative and quantitative methods for the analysis of Internet communications in school communities.

Conclusions: the basis for creating a more integrated and safe digital educational space of Internet communications in the school environment can only be an ambiguous, multifaceted analysis and a comprehensively substantiated strategy for their implementation. All private hypotheses underlying the sociological tools are also confirmed.
