Political propaganda in a hybrid war: principles, communication channels, state control of information flows

Abstract. The issue raised in the scientific article «Political Propaganda in the Conditions of Hybrid War: Principles, Communication Channels, State Control of Information Flows» is relevant and topical, is a brief but sufficient for understanding and debate question, corresponds to the direction of research in the specialty Political institutions, processes and technologies. The author summarizes the current state of the chosen object of study, clarifies the categories of the conceptual apparatus, describes both new and already established views on the subject under study. Attention is focused on the current state of the political development of society, the positions and opinions of political scientists are studied, taking into account the socio-cultural and political life of our society in the context of the problem raised. The researcher’s personal position regarding the phenomenon under study is expressed, scientific tasks are formulated for further disclosure of the raised research topic. An attempt has been made to generalize the current state of the phenomenon under consideration and to offer original conclusions that reflect an individual approach and the author’s position in relation to the analyzed process. The researcher’s own vision is formulated regarding the further development of the discussion raised, the manuscript is distinguished by simplicity and clarity in the presentation of a personal position. In conclusion, the author notes that political propaganda is a powerful tool in hybrid wars, and it is important that people know how it is used and be critical of information consumers. While it can be difficult to completely eliminate propaganda from the information landscape, education and media literacy can mitigate its impact. The conclusions drawn in the work of the proposal will help the author in the future when conducting quantitative and qualitative empirical research on the subject of his dissertation work.
