Political scandals as an element of corruption

Abstract. The relevance and problems of political scandals discussed in this article are important elements of corruption. In the article, the author summarizes the state of the selected research object, clarifies conceptual categories, and describes different points of view on this topic, both new and already established. Attention is paid to the current state of political development of society, the positions and opinions of political scientists are analyzed taking into account the sociocultural and political life of society in the context of the problem. The researcher expresses his personal position regarding the phenomenon being studied, formulates scientific tasks for further research on this topic. An attempt is also made to summarize the current state of this phenomenon and offer original conclusions reflecting the author’s position in relation to the analyzed process. The author also formulates his vision regarding the further development of this discussion. The manuscript is distinguished by clarity and simplicity in presenting the author’s position. The presented conclusions and proposals will help to consider the object under study for the future and will help the author to identify tasks and develop tools for conducting quantitative and qualitative empirical research as part of his dissertation work.
