Sexualization of political behavior: natural and perverse aspects

Abstract. This article examines the sexualization of political behavior, taking into account natural and perverse aspects. The study recognizes the relevance of this topic for modern times and notes the lack of research addressing the essence of the problematic issue. The analysis is carried out from a historical perspective, which notes the diversity of attitudes of different nations towards the role of women in the political process.
The article presents various approaches to sexualization in socio-political life and emphasizes the importance of understanding this problem for future political processes. The key message of the study is the shift towards a feminist perspective in contemporary political discourse, which has a global impact.
Understanding gender roles and their application in the political sphere is considered essential to achieving gender equality and preventing conflict. The role of political scientists and other scholars is to create basic knowledge about gender roles and their role in political processes to enhance political effectiveness and maintain a peaceful society.
The conducted research suggests that the research topic will be significant for contemporary gender relations.
