For a citizen, protecting the \u00abcommon home\u00bb is part of life and further development.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In this article, the author examines the relevance of the environmental issue and the need for its socialization through educational institutions, territorial communities and public organizations. It has been revealed that solving environmental problems at the local level can be more effective, since local communities are better aware of their problems and see the benefits of solving them. Decentralization of powers also encourages local communities to care about the environment. The author also draws attention to the key concept of the study-ecological culture. Describing its content, we can mention economic literacy, the ability to work with environmental information, economic awareness and rules of environmental behavior.
