It focuses on the unique ability of Chinese civilization to reproduce itself by turning to its own historical roots, which distinguishes it from many other non-Western societies. It examines how the core ideas of these teachings, historically opposed to one another, were synthesized and adapted in the 20th and 21st centuries to address the challenges of public administration. The article examines the specific embodiment of ancient principles in modern political practices: from the personnel selection system to foreign policy strategy. It shows that Confucianism has given rise to the principles of social harmony, the moral authority of power, and patriotic education; Legalism has given rise to the instruments of strict legal control, centralization, and strengthening of the state, which have found expression in anti-corruption policies and systems of social regulation; and Taoism has given rise to strategies of flexibility in foreign policy and the concept of ecological development. The article concludes that the modern Chinese political model represents an organic synthesis of traditional ideas, serving as the foundation for stability, the legitimacy of power, and national identity.
