Special attention is paid to the phenomenon of nonconformism as a factor in behavioral response. This article also takes into account the socio-psychological characteristics of young people within the framework of the theory of generation, in particular generation Z. The values of generation Z are considered, and the relationship between the concept of nonconformism and their worldview. Moreover, the article reveals the ways of modern youth to express their opinions on social networks as active users, which can subsequently become the basis of mass culture and influence public consciousness. Some ideological positions on pressing social issues, which can be attributed to the manifestation of nonconformism, evoke a wide public response, forcing us to reconsider the generally accepted position on the topics raised.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is based on the latest research in the field of social psychology, which analyzes the behavioral patterns of young people and their level of nonconformism. The article examines nonconformism as situational behavior, as well as a way of self-expression among young people. Aspects of the influence of nonconformism on the transformation of norms and values of society and the modernization of public life are presented. The question is raised about what behavior in modern society, where digitalization and the active influence of social networks on the social structure is taking place, should be considered conformal and non-conformal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This article is intended to consider nonconformism as a response of young people to negative information, which may, in the longer term, cause a reassessment of the value-normative system in a particular society.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Keywords:<\/strong> youth behavior; nonconformity; behavioral response; theory of generation; generation Z; situational behavior; social order<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Titova Daria Antonovna Russian State Social University, Moscow, Russia E-mail: ms.darya.titova@mail.ru Abstract.
