The institution of guardianship and guardianship as an instrument for protecting the rights of children

Abstract. In this article, the author examines the institution of guardianship and trusteeship as an important tool for protecting the rights and interests of children in Russia. The historical aspects of its development, the current state and opportunities for its improvement in the future are considered.
The main attention is paid to the issues of legislative regulation of this institution, the problems faced by children left without parents, and ways to solve them. The author emphasizes the importance of improving the legislative framework in this area and creating effective mechanisms for protecting children’s rights.
The article also analyzes the prospects for the development of the institution of guardianship and trusteeship for the future, and suggests ways for its further development and improvement. For example, the author proposes to develop new laws that will be aimed at improving the protection of children, to cooperate with international organizations on child protection issues and to exchange experiences with them.
In general, the article represents an in-depth analysis of the institution of guardianship and trusteeship as a means of protecting the rights of children in Russia, identifies existing problems and proposes solutions to eliminate them.
