Abstract. In the article, the author studies the importance of the media for political processes and their influence on public thinking. Scholars from various fields, including political science, are studying this topic closely. This is due to how the improvement and improvement of technology has provided the opportunity to increase the availability of media to every member of society, regardless of financial status and position. All this allows media such as radio and television stations to actively influence public views and opinions of people. Thanks to society’s wide access to media, the modern world we live in has been shaped and made more malleable. Modifications in the methods of transmitting information caused a transformation of political communication, which received new means and ways of influencing society. Political communication has become the main source of information in our world, while the media has become a special political tool for those involved in public activities.
