Abstract. The issue raised in the scientific article «Afghanistan in Eurasian Integration» is relevant and topical, it is a short but sufficient issue for understanding and debate. The author summarizes the current state of the chosen object of study, clarifies the categories of the conceptual apparatus, describes both new and already established views on the subject under study. Attention is focused on the current state of the political development of society The article contains an overview of the historical context of the presence of Afghanistan in the region, drawing attention to its geographical position and the role it plays as a transit hub between Europe and Asia. The authors then explore the benefits and potential challenges that Afghanistan faces in joining the Eurasian integration structures. The study is a detailed analytical work devoted to the study of the role of Afghanistan in the processes and Eurasian integration, especially within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The researcher’s personal position regarding the phenomenon under study is expressed, scientific tasks are formulated for further disclosure of the raised research topic. An attempt has been made to generalize the current state of the phenomenon under consideration and to offer original conclusions that reflect an individual approach and the author’s position in relation to the analyzed process. The article analyzes in detail various aspects of the accession and interaction of Afghanistan with the Eurasian region. The main issue considered in the work is the impact of Afghanistan’s membership in these organizations on the economy, politics, security and development of this country. The researcher’s own vision is formulated regarding the further development of the discussion raised, the manuscript is distinguished by simplicity and clarity in the presentation of a personal position.
